Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice.....Twice!

Twice the sugar and twice the spice, w e are having two baby girls....won't that be nice! Everything went great at our appointment yesterday. The Perinatalogist confirmed that we are having twin girls and he is 99% sure that they are identical twins. Our regular doctor told us at first they they were fraternal, but after a closer look from the Perinatalogist he seems to think that they are identical. He said it's a hard call to make and the only way to be 100% certain is to have genetic testing after they are born. He went into detail as to why he seems to think that they are identical, and I'll be glad to explain that to anyone who might be curious, but for now I'll spare other readers the details. Most importantly, both babies are healthy and so is Mom! They are very active, so it was still hard to get good photos of them. We did get some great video footage that they will add to each month. As of now the twins are measuring right on target with my due date. I am currently 19 weeks and 1 twin is measuring 19 weeks 2 days, and the other twin is measuring 19 weeks 4 days. Next week I have an appointment with my regular doctor and I will have another Ultra Sound so you can expect another update from us then! Happy Birthday To Scott!

Scott turned 31 on October 7th. We celebrated the night before heading off to Talladega. To go along with our NASCAR filled month Scott's Mom and Dad picked out the perfect cake!

Fall Fun!

This past weekend we decided to head to North Georgia for some Fall Fun! We had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful colors of Fall. I'm oficially 18 weeks along so we had to take a photo. That is my tummy, I promise I wasn't trying to smuggle any pumpkins from the pumpkin patch!!

Talladega Nights

October is a NASCAR filled month for us. It all began in Talladega then we headed north to Charlotte. This past weekend we were able to down shift a bit and we took a little pit stop before the upcoming weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway! These pictures are from Talladega. It was my first time at Dega and the twins very first NASCAR experience. As you can see I took every precaution to protect their hearing!

Tickled Pink!

We are tickled pink and oh so happy to say 1 baby girl is on the way!! The other twin was being a little shy, so hopefully we will be able to find out it's gender next month. Most importantly, both babies look healthy and are still the exact same size! Next month I will have a lengthy and more detailed Ultra Sound that will closely measure each of the twins and I will also see a Perinatalogist in Atlanta to have a closer look at their growth and development. I was able to get a couple of pictures from the visit this morning and I will post them as soon as I can! This has been an exciting couple of days for us, as we found out yesterday that Mom's Scans were completely clear and we had such a wonderful visit this morning!
