Relay for Life

Relay for Life was extra special this year! Mom took part in the opening Survivors lap and had the honor of walking along side over 200 Cancer Survivors ranging in age from 5 years old to 86 years old. Amber's father-in-law, Mack and Michala Hopkins took part in the opening Survivors lap as well! We cheered them on from the sidelines until we were able to join them on the second lap of the relay, which included survivors and their caretakers. The event was a huge success for Newton County, they raised $230,000. Our Team, Miles for Michala passed their team goal of $12,250 and raised over $14,000 for this wonderful cause!!!!
