Big Girl Car Seats

In mid April the Girls were finally able to move into their "big girl" car seats and finally able to face forward. I was a little sad about this milestone, especially after seeing how big they looked sitting in the new seats. I guess my little babies are growing up!

Daddy worked hard to install the seats and to be sure that they were nice and secure. This was definitely a job for Daddy, I've never been able to install a car seat properly and have it stay nice and snug, but after 3 nieces Scott is pretty much an expert and can do it in record time!

Once Daddy was done we just had to let Bonnie Kay and Molly Margaret try them out!

We took them for a drive and went to BJ's to get......you guessed it, more diapers!! After our trip to BJ's we decided to go to dinner at one of our favorite places, The Redneck Gourmet on the square in Newnan. Scott and I opted for the Fried Green Tomato BLT and the girls munched out on a Grilled Cheese and fries....they have the best handcut fries, they are right up there with the fries at The Varsity, only better. Fries are just one of my many weaknesses when it comes to food!
The Redneck was the first restaurant that we took Bonnie Kay and Molly Margaret to on one of their first outtings after they were born and old enough to leave the house. So, it only seemed right that we take them there to celebrate moving up to their "Big Girl" seats! The Redneck is usually kind of loud and family oriented, so the Girls always fit right in!

Molly Margaret is ready to ride!

Wow.....So much to see!!

Bonnie Kay couldn't believe how comfy and how much room she had!!

She really enjoyed the view!

Bonnie Kay and Molly Margaret loved riding in their new seats during our little journey! It was like a whole new world to them, being able to see out of the windows, being able to see Mommy and Daddy, not to mention us being able to see them! The expressions on their faces were priceless as we drove along. They jabbered back and forth the entire way.....if we only knew what they were saying to each other!
