Down by the Sea

Scott's Mom and Dad rented a house in Seaside for the month of February and they were nice enough to let Scott, the Girls and I have it for a week! We went down on a Saturday and we were able to spend one night with Papa and Cece before they had to head home. Hopefully next time we will be able to spend more time with them so they can see their little beach bunnies in action!

Scott's parents have rented this same house for a number of years now. They have a picture of Anna sitting on this same porch rail when she was a baby and also one of Jill. This time it was Bonnie Kay and Molly Margaret's turn!

We had a great week, just relaxing and spending time together. The weather was beautiful most every day, definitely not warm enough for swim suits (which didn't hurt my feelings) or to get in the water but just warm enough that we were able to play on the beach everyday! We'd usually go out just after lunch and stay out until dinner time, we were even able to catch a sunset or two!

With the time of the year that it was and with the weather we didn't have to worry about the Girls getting too hot...or sunscreen...or any of that business, it was great! We were able to get in a lot more beach time. This was the Girls second trip to the beach and once again they loved it! And when I say that the Girls loved it....I mean they LOVED it! They really became one with the sand, so much so that they asked for a sandbox for their birthday!

Let me apologize now for the overload of pictures that's going to come along with this post.....the Girls just had so much fun and we want to share it with you!

I am glad that the Girls like the beach so much beacuse there is no place that I'd rather be!
