The Big 30!!

I turned the big 30 this year and I was completely OK with it! After the year I'd had,I didn't want a party, however my birthday celebrations kind of went on and on and on!! It all began the weekend before my birthday. On Saturday we had a Kanner Family Fiesta at one of my local favorites, followed by cake at Papa and Cece's house....Yummy Yummy! Bonnie Kay and Molly Margaret also loved the Mexican Cuisine. They munched out on some guacamole and bean dip! I guess I ate Mexican so much when I was pregnant, they developed a taste for it as well! Probably the BEST part about that night was watching the Dawgs beat the Gators! Being with the Kanner family I'm a little out numbered. Two of them, Shawn and Jon are Gator Grads, so the rest of the family is a little partial. Yes, I know the Gators have beat the Dawgs like a zillion times, but this year we finally get the bragging rights! On Sunday, Scott, Jon and I headed to Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Fall Race. We got there bright and early so we'd have a prime tailgating spot, then Davina, Danny, my cousin Tiffany and her husband Wayne joined us a little later for some pre race day festivities. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the day at AMS!! On the day of my birthday, my cousins Tiffany and Crystal brought birthday lunch and cake, yes, more cake! They spent most of the day with me, the girls and of course Baby Kate. That evening, before trick-or-treating we had a little family party. The girls gave me the best gift ever, a stepping stone with their foot prints! I know they worked very hard on it...with a little help from Daddy!
