Baby Dedication

On July 29th Bonnie Kay and Molly Margaret were dedicated at church. This was the first time that our Pastor had done a Baby Dedication for twins, and the first twins to be dedicated in our church in many many years. Something else that made this Sunday special was that Bonnie Kay and Molly Margaret's cousin Colby, who is just a month older than the girls was dedicated as well.

Preacher Dusty had us select Life Verses for the girls, this was much harder than one might think! After much consideration, we selected Colossians 1:9-12; 3:12-17 as Bonnie Kay and Molly Margaret's Life Verse.

With the exception of needing a little snack the girls did great during the service and looked just beautiful in their white dresses, bonnets, and booties that they wore home from the hospital.

After church we headed home for a wonderful lunch and of course a few photos! While we were taking pictures on our front porch I looked out in the field across from our house and there was the most beautiful eagle flying overhead. I don't know if you all believe in signs or not, but I certainly do and it gave me great comfort and peace to know that the girls Granby (my mom) was with them on this special day. Yes, I know that she's always with the girls, as well as with us, but seeing the eagle flying so graceful and so free overhead was a wonderful reminder.

It was such a wonderful day and we are so thankful for all of our family and friends that shared it with us!
